Hi Lindsey,

We have made some progress on the porch, the chicken shelter and the PVC plumbing from the house to the new automatic chicken watering system. The porch will be an ongoing project but the other two projects should be wrapped up in the next day or so. We still have to figure out how to get the flashing for the edge of the roof to drain into the gutter installed. This still has to be figured out but must get done before we can go ahead with the roof. There are a few ideas we haven't tried out yet and fingers are crossed. The weather is turning cold at night but perfect during the day which helps to move things along.

Thanks for keeping us up on your blog of your experiences abroad and let us know if anything crazy happens on board while you are at sea. I can't believe they are doing that good a job keeping all the students under control to where there isn't something a little outrageous to talk about or mention. That doesn't imply that you should go overboard (no pun intended)just to keep me happy, but can't help letting my curiosity get the better of me.

Looks like you will have a little more time at sea when you deport from Tema, Ghana. Hope you get a brake from the curricula now and then along the way to Cape Town.

Grandpa

Hi Lindsey,

I just wanted to let you know that we're still following your blog. I love your writing, and your photos are incredible as always. It sounds like they're keeping you pretty busy there, but I wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts. We love you, and if you get a chance for a tiny post in your grand adventures and busy schedule, it would be nice. But not necessary. Have fun!!
